How the site is funded
Harrington Community is funded by advertising from an ad network (currently Adsterra). Ads are labelled "Advertisement" and are chosen by the ad network, not by us. Advertisers have no influence over what we publish. We do not run affiliate links or sponsored content, and we do not refer readers to law firms.
How Our Guides Are Made
Harrington Community is not a law firm and is not run by attorneys. Each statute guide starts from the official text published by the government, which we store with the date we retrieved it. An AI writing assistant drafts a plain-English explanation using only that text. Software then checks that every quoted passage, amount and deadline appears in the official text; a guide that fails any check is not published. Each guide links to its source so you can read the law yourself. We re-check official sources regularly and update guides when the law changes.
Disclosures FAQ
Does Harrington Community charge fees to homeowners?
No. Every page on the site, including the statute guides, the comparison tables and the letter template, is free to read and use.
Does anyone pay to appear in a guide?
No. Guides are written only from the official statute text. Nobody can pay to be mentioned, recommended or ranked, and we do not take referral fees from law firms or service providers.
